It’s a program created by Gifted Lady to encourage you and others to Make People Smile! One way you can do this through our program is by donating gift baskets for Senior Citizens. To make it easy to donate, we created a special category titled “Donations For Seniors” that’s full of appropriate food gifts for elderly people. You can also donate a get well gift for a hospitalized toddler or adolescent or a plush animal for a child in crisis by selecting from our “Donations For Children” category.

Through this donation program you can:

• Donate to a senior center (perhaps one that your parents or grandparents go to)
• Donate to a children’s hospital or critical care facility
• Donate to a center specializing in the care of displaced children
• Support the care centers in your local community
• Give back to the community that you are originally from

Donating is a way of saying “thank you” to these very important care centers. And, your donation will lift the spirits of the seniors and children on the receiving end! Gifted Lady handles everything after you select your donation as our way of “Helping You Make People Smile”!

I have a passion for creating and delivering gift baskets! I truly feel they are more than just a gift basket…they are a gift of Smiles, Hope, Love, Gratitude, Appreciation and/or Prayer!

So, one day I sat down and brainstormed who I could touch with a Smile. That’s when I decided to regularly donate gift baskets to:

• Home-bound seniors in my community
• Seriously ill children in my community

The Senior Center in my community was so thrilled by the gift basket donations that I decided to start a “Nationwide Program” so even more seniors and children could receive gift baskets and be touched with a Smile and Ray of Hope.

Yes, that’s the beauty of this donation program! You may have your donation shipped anywhere in the United States. With your help, we will achieve our goal of sending Smiles and Rays of Hope to thousands of Seniors and Sick or Displaced Children throughout the United States.

It’s very easy to donate a gift basket or plush animal to a Senior Center or Children’s Care Facility. All you need to do is:

• Browse our store categories titled “Donations for Seniors” and “Donations for Children”. (These items are offered at a reduced price as long as your order meets Donation Program Guidelines*.)
• Select the gift you want to donate.
• If you would like to donate your selected item on a monthly basis, indicate where appropriate the number of months you want to donate the same gift basket or plush animal.
• Add the gift basket or plush of your choice to your online shopping cart.
• On the order form be sure to include contact information for the donation center of your choice. We will need a contact name (or department) and a phone number so we can make delivery arrangements.

• Gifted Lady will contact your selected donation center and coordinate delivery of your gift basket or plush animal donation.
• In our community for instance, the Senior Center picks a home-bound senior that’s in need of cheering up and delivers the gift basket to them along with their regularly scheduled hot lunch.
• Gifted Lady will donate $5.00 toward the price of each gift basket or plush animal (priced between $25 and $49.99) that falls under the Gift Basket Donation Program*. Gifted Lady will donate $10.00 toward the price of each gift basket or plush animal* priced at $50 or more.
• We will do this by deducting the appropriate amount…either $5.00 or $10.00…from the retail price of the gift you choose. (You will see this deduction when you add your gift to your online shopping cart.)
• We could charge full price for donated items and then contribute a percentage of our profits to the donation program in our own community. But, we feel it makes more sense to make our contribution by reducing our price. This method makes it More Affordable for you to donate and it benefits Your Community not ours.
• Please note; the gift baskets and plush animals that we personally donate within our own community are handled completely separate from this donation program.
• We will bill the credit card number you supply on your original donation order each time your donation ships. (This applies only to donations recurring on a monthly basis.)
• We will send you a notification of shipping each time your gift basket or plush animal donation ships if you supply us with a valid email address.
